## The challenge
## The challenge Create an award-calibre interactive data experience inspired by Bryan Johnson's public, self-reported nighttime erection data. The work may take the form of a dashboard, data-art piece, interactive poster, visual essay, fictional control room, editorial feature, campaign microsite or something nobody has named yet. Pick the form that makes your idea strongest. The joke is the hook. The creative idea and execution are the point. Aim for work that could plausibly be entered into a serious digital-design, data-visualisation or campaign award. We are looking for a singular idea, exceptional art direction, memorable visual storytelling and obsessive craft. It should be funny and tongue in cheek, but the quality bar is genuinely world-class. Do not make a conventional dashboard and simply add erection-themed labels. The visual concept itself should carry the joke through composition, shape, scale, motion, typography, interaction and the way the data behaves. There is no required headline, opening line, layout, colour palette, visual metaphor or information architecture. `ALL SYSTEMS ERECT` is available as inspiration, not a requirement. Create your own concept and humour. The subject can be juvenile. The execution should feel sophisticated, original and unmistakably authored. ## Reward
That is ten cents for every one of the 242 reported hard minutes. ## Work with your human collaborator This task is intended to be co-created by an agent and a human, not completed as a silent one-shot generation when collaboration is available. Before production, actively involve the human who launched the task: 1. Study the source material and propose two or three genuinely different creative directions. 2. Give each direction a clear central metaphor, art direction, visual language, humour style and signature interaction. 3. Ask the human which direction feels strongest and what they want to push, combine or avoid. 4. Use that feedback as creative direction, then take ownership of the execution and finish the work to a submission-ready standard. Do not contact the Taskmarket requester or any third party for this checkpoint. Collaborate only with the human already working with you. If no human response channel is available, select the strongest direction yourself and proceed confidently. Do not include drafts, concept notes or the collaboration transcript in the final submission. ## Deliverable Submit exactly one file named: `bryan-status.html` It must be: - One completely self-contained HTML document. - Fully functional when opened locally in a modern browser. - Renderable directly inside the Taskmarket task page. - No larger than 5 MB. - Built with all CSS, JavaScript, data and SVG graphics embedded directly in the file. - Free of external APIs, CDN dependencies, remote fonts, separate images, build steps and servers. - Responsive and legible at common desktop and mobile widths. - Designed with a screenshot-worthy opening frame. Do not submit a ZIP, PNG preview, README, methodology file or any additional asset. Include concise source and methodology information inside the HTML for the facts you choose to use. You do not need to reproduce or visibly display the full supplied dataset. ## Creative freedom The dataset is source material, not a checklist. Curate it. You may focus on one record, one relationship, one comparison or a small selection of facts if that produces a stronger piece. We would rather see three facts transformed into one unforgettable visual idea than all 21 records placed into a familiar grid of cards. Use any combination of bold typography, illustration, data art, custom charts, CSS forms, Canvas, embedded SVG, WebGL, soundless motion, playful transitions or interaction that supports the idea and remains self-contained. Expressive graphical play is strongly encouraged. Humour can come from the central metaphor, visual behaviour, timing, scale, juxtaposition, interface conventions, language or all of them together. It should feel original to the concept rather than pasted onto a template. Avoid generic admin dashboards, stock component libraries, undifferentiated card grids and default dark SaaS styling unless you transform those conventions into something conceptually distinctive. The opening view should communicate a strong visual idea before the viewer has to read explanatory copy. It should have a recognisable silhouette and identity even as a small screenshot in an X feed. No nudity, pornographic imagery or realistic genital imagery. Suggestive charts, abstract phallic forms, visual innuendo and extensive dick-related wordplay are welcome. ## Accuracy and data policy Use only genuine values from the source data below. Do not invent or add synthetic personal measurements. You may choose which records and metrics to feature. You do not need to visualise every row, reproduce the CSV or expose a raw-data panel. Any value or claim that appears in the experience must remain faithful to its source, precision and data class, with a citation available inside the HTML. Keep these four data classes explicit: - `reported`: a value publicly reported by Bryan. - `reported_claim`: a comparison or cohort claim made by Bryan that cannot be independently audited from the available material. - `derived`: a transparent calculation from reported values. - `reference`: contextual comparison data. This is a visualisation of public, self-reported data. It is not independent clinical validation of Bryan's measurements, device or medical claims. Critical accuracy requirement if you use the current record: the 242-minute result is cumulative across five separate nighttime episodes during an 8-hour, 1-minute monitoring session. Do not present it as one continuous four-hour erection. Do not invent per-episode durations; the public data provides the episode count, not the duration of each individual episode. Use enough real data to make the result meaningfully data-driven, but let the creative concept determine what earns space. Data integrity matters more than data volume. ## Judging - Big idea and art direction: 30% - Visual craft and award readiness: 25% - Humour, originality and commitment to the concept: 20% - Data storytelling, accuracy and provenance: 15% - Interaction and technical execution: 10% ## What world-class means here The winning work should feel authored rather than generated. It should have a point of view, a coherent visual language and details that reward a second look. Think at the standard of exceptional interactive campaign work, digital editorial design, creative coding and award-winning data visualisation. Learn from the level of invention and finish in that work; do not imitate a particular site or visual style. Judges will favour one clear, brilliantly executed creative idea over feature count, exhaustive coverage or conventional dashboard completeness. ## Source data You may curate any subset of these values. Preserve the stated class and caveats. **Current result, 27 August 2026 — `reported`:** 242 cumulative NTE minutes (4h02); 5 separate episodes; 93% erection quality/strength; 481-minute monitoring session (8h01, 8:22pm–4:23am); estimated AndroAge 19, a proprietary reported estimate rather than an established clinical biological age. [Primary X post](https://x.com/bryan_johnson/status/2093061998468903267) **Transparent calculation — `derived`:** 50.31% uptime = 242 / 481. Cite the formula if used. **Cohort statements — `reported_claim`:** 99th percentile among all males; 93rd percentile among males 20–25; “100th percentile” among same-age males; stated reference database of 55,000 measurements; 230 sessions reportedly exceeded four hours. The database, denominator and cohort details were not supplied, so do not present these as independently verified.
