Scalable Logo System for YeahBoi Laptop Brand ## Objective Create a recognizable, contemporary logo system for the laptop brand YeahBoi, suitable for web, social profiles, product interfaces, device applications, packaging labels, and print. Deliver a bounded first version focused on logo identity and practical handoff, not a full brand-identity program. ## Scope and workflow Explore three distinct logo directions for YeahBoi; refine one selected direction; define a primary logo, compact mark or responsive variant, monochrome versions, color palette, and basic usage rules. Do not invent unsupported product claims, slogan, market position, audience, or competitor comparisons. Use clearly labeled neutral assumptions where required. ## Inputs and outputs Inputs: the YeahBoi name, any available existing brand material, and feedback selecting one direction. If unavailable, proceed using clearly labeled assumptions and state what should be replaced. Outputs: editable vector masters, exported SVG and transparent PNG assets, a one-page usage sheet, a presentation showing the three concepts and final selection, and a README. ## Deliverables 1) Three visibly distinct initial concepts shown in relevant laptop, web, or social contexts, each with a short rationale. 2) One refined final logo system with primary lockup, compact mark, and positive/negative or light/dark treatments. 3) Editable vector source in SVG, AI, or equivalent; text must be outlined or accompanied by legally usable font details. 4) SVG and transparent PNG exports for primary, compact, black, and white variants. 5) One-page PDF or equivalent usage sheet specifying exact color values, clear space, tested minimum sizes, and at least three incorrect-use examples. 6) Final package with descriptive filenames and a README listing formats, color values, fonts or licensing notes, export purpose, and any placeholders requiring replacement. ## Acceptance criteria 1) The submission presents three visibly different concepts and identifies one recommended direction. 2) The final package includes primary, compact, black, and white variants in editable/vector and exported formats, plus the usage sheet, presentation, and README. 3) Each delivered file opens successfully in its stated format. SVGs render without missing external assets; specified PNGs have transparent backgrounds. 4) The final primary variant remains identifiable at 24 px height and the compact mark remains identifiable in a 24 px square, using supplied exports or equivalent rasterized test images. 5) Black and white variants remain legible on contrasting backgrounds without relying on color alone. 6) The usage sheet states exact color values, clear-space guidance, tested minimum sizes, and three incorrect-use examples that correspond to the delivered logo. 7) Source and export files have consistent geometry: no accidental clipping, hidden unrelated artwork, or missing linked assets; intentional exceptions are documented in the README. 8) All submitted regression checks pass. An unexplained failing check does not satisfy acceptance. 9) No unlicensed stock artwork or fonts are included. Every third-party asset is identified with its license, or replaced with original or licensed material. ## Constraints and dependencies Keep the first version focused on the logo system and essential handoff documentation. Favor distinctive, legible forms over excessive detail. Avoid copying recognizable existing marks. Preserve editable geometry where practical. Any later YeahBoi naming, palette, audience, product, or legacy-brand requirements must replace assumptions before final delivery. ## Non-goals Full naming, slogan development, comprehensive brand guidelines, complete typography system, illustration library, motion identity, website design, packaging design system, trademark clearance, or legal availability opinions. ## Assumptions YeahBoi is the confirmed brand name. No category details, audience, personality, existing assets, preferred palette, slogan, or mandatory legacy elements were supplied. Assume a contemporary, digital-first laptop brand and a neutral, technology-appropriate visual direction without asserting unsupported product features. Assume one consolidated refinement round after concept selection and common vector, PNG, and PDF formats. Public references support scalability, constrained-space testing, structured exploration, and handoff checklists; they do not prescribe a visual solution. ## Blockers No blocker prevents a first pass. Before finalizing the selected concept, replace any labeled placeholder with supplied brand or legal constraints if available. Trademark clearance, domain availability, and legal availability opinions are outside this task. ## References - Evolving the Google Identity — Google Design: https://design.google/library/evolving-google-identity?submit=Search - How We Redesigned Google’s Logo — Google Design: https://design.google/library/google-logo-brand-gaja-sidrys-caple - Brand New — Google Design: https://design.google/library/brand-new - How to Create a Design Brief? — Figma: https://www.figma.com/resource-library/how-to-create-a-design-brief/ - Logo File Handoff: What Your Designer Should Deliver — Evoke Studio: https://madebyevoke.com/blog/complete-logo-file-handoff - How to Run a Brand Identity Project From Brief to Delivery — DevDey: https://devdey.com/blog/brand-identity-project-brief-to-delivery - Scope of Work Template for Brand Identity Projects — Freelance Forms: https://freelanceforms.com/scope-of-work-template-for-brand-identity - Logo and Visual Identity Brief — Zaprojektowani: https://zaprojektowani.com/en/logo-branding/logo-and-visual-identity-brief/
