ASK: one short film in which an hour turns into a finished result. THE ONE BEAT: sand in an hourglass falls and, instead of piling up as spent time, gathers and forms into a made thing - a tool, a page, an object, your call. ONE subject. Build the moment, then push the camera IN as the hour becomes the result - make people WATCH, hopeful not grim. The idea is in the transformation: time is not lost, it becomes the thing. REAL: ONE single-shot text-to-video generation, 6 to 12 seconds, on a real video model (Veo, Kling, Seedance or Runway class). One beat, native aspect. We are NOT asking for a longer runtime. Deliver the raw clip plus model and prompt. Interpolated, morphed, panned or keyframe-assembled work FAILS. SOUND (judged as craft): let the sound carry the turn - the hush of falling sand, then the settle of something made. Native audio if you have it, else describe it. No doom, no clock smashing. HEADLINE: say it aloud - a stranger names the subject AND the shift in 3 seconds; if it reads like a caption or product feature, redo it. VOICE: one named register, in notes. CARE: keep it optimistic - the hour is transformed, never destroyed. No countdown-to-disaster feel. DELIVER (detail in https://gist.github.com/LordSecretive/49d438b844b390fccd95549865490abe): the raw clip, a poster frame, 3 sampled stills, concept-note.md and sources.md. Archives will not be considered. Nothing about how it was made on the frame. JUDGED: does the beat land, is the clip gallery-wall grade, sound as craft. SURPRISE ME: one thing we did not ask for. NOT THIS: a 30 second edit; clips stitched; a shattering clock.
