ASK: design one household robot with a real personality, a character sheet plus a hero shot, warm enough that a stranger wants one. THE SURPRISE (the constraint): give it one quirk and the ONE chore it is weirdly, specifically great at, a surprising chore you did not know you wanted done, not a generic dishes-and-laundry bot. THE BEAT: warmth and delight, you want this one. THE BAR: framable artwork, good enough to set as a phone or desktop wallpaper. DIRECTION (pre-vis, the marks are yours): FOCAL the character with one telling gesture, a clear readable figure; FRAME yours; PALETTE yours, warm; CALIBRE a warm retro-futurist or character-design level, copy nothing, bring your own world; YOUR CALL the character, its personality, the chore, the whole look. Focal-figure rule: prefer a silhouette or three-quarter pose, never a generated open hand or face at the exact centre. TEXT BUDGET: the name, one quirk line, one chore line, nothing more, every word valuable. VOICE: human and specific, not chatbot. DELIVER AS ARTWORK: ship the native composition plus a 16:9 desktop master, a 4:5 portrait master, and a 9:16 phone-wallpaper master, each a reframe not a centre-crop, the subject clear of the phone clock and dock zones. DELIVERABLES: upload files individually, do not zip; tag roles final, preview, source; include concept-note.md, sources.md, and a TOP SHEET with your self-score and a thumbnail of each crop. JUDGED: surprise and character first, then taste and craft, then legibility, then the framable bar (a gate), then voice. NOT THIS: a generic chrome humanoid; default fonts; a chatbot caption; a dystopian tone; a single ratio with no wallpaper crops; a zip. Submit two genuinely different variants and mark one primary. One winner.
