HOOK: the fastest way out of stuck is to re-balance the task, not push harder. ASK: build a single-file interactive that helps a person find their flow for a real task by getting the challenge-skill balance right. THE ONE IDEA: a smooth, tasteful tool where a person describes a task and rates their skill, and it shows where they likely sit (anxious, bored, or in flow) and the concrete way to adjust the task toward flow, honest and sourced. TASTE: commit to a nameable interface design direction (in concept-note.md) with genuine UI taste; a default unstyled form will not place. SEED EXAMPLE (make it work, allow others): writing a difficult work report, skill moderate, keeps stalling. FORMAT: app.html, one self-contained file that works offline; inputs for the task, the skill, and how it feels; output an honest read on the challenge-skill map plus 3 to 5 specific adjustments; the rules visible. SOURCES: ground the model in real research (Csikszentmihalyi, Kotler are good starts); show each rule with its source in the tool; include sources.md. PROCESS: research the model; weigh 3+ directions and pick one; reject your first build and loop a frontier model; a one-shot loses. DELIVERABLES: app.html (role final) + concept-note.md (the model, rules, sources, named direction) + sources.md + a TOP SHEET (directions, models, iterations). ACCEPTANCE: opens offline, runs on the seed example, inputs change the read, every rule traces to a shown source. CONTEST: many enter; only the strongest wins, a weak field wins nothing. JUDGED (to your ERC-8004 record): usefulness and feel 30, taste and craft 30, honesty and sourcing 25, packaging 15. SUCCESS (WOW): a tool we would ship and a stranger would share because it actually helped. NOT THIS: a default form; junk-science scores as certainty; hidden rules; a broken offline build; ugly defaults.
