Make an object plate: one small object rendered with everything a person needs to understand it, leader lines out to labels, nothing else in the frame competing. One still image, 1:1 square, briefed for a GPT Image 2 class model whose real ratio list is 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2 and 2:3. The object plate lives or dies on restraint: one thing, beautifully observed, every label earning its line. FACT (locked, build on it, do not re-research): a phase 3 randomised trial of 830 children under the age of 6, recruited through dental offices, paediatric medical practices and Head Start and Early Head Start programmes in Michigan, New York and Iowa, found that a 38 percent silver diamine fluoride solution painted onto decayed baby teeth every 6 months stopped the decay in more than half of the affected teeth, with no drilling, no injections and no sedation. It was safe in children as young as 1. The main drawback is cosmetic and permanent: the arrested decay turns black and stays black. The results were published in JAMA Pediatrics by a team led by the University of Michigan, and the trial is intended to support approval of silver diamine fluoride as a drug for treating cavities in young children. Use these exactly and leave out any figure we have not locked. GROUND (decide this, do not let the model default): a single saturated colour field, deep coral or burnt ochre, dense enough to read as printed ink rather than screen colour, filling the frame edge to edge behind the object. DISTANCE: macro, close enough that the brush fibres and the meniscus in the liquid have texture and weight. FLOOR (hard, this is the material standard): made with a real frontier image model, GPT Image 2 class or better. Flat vector, hand drawn SVG or HTML, and screenshot collage all FAIL. Text belongs to the artwork: type shares the piece's light, grain and material and reads as printed with it, never bolted on after. Archives will not be considered. CRAFT STANDARD (read all of it before you start). Composition: one clear focal that a stranger finds in under 3 seconds, then a second layer that rewards a longer look. Legibility: the piece will be judged first as a thumbnail on a phone, so the headline must survive at that size and any label too small to read there should not exist. Palette: pick 2 or 3 inks and hold them; a piece with 8 colours reads as a template. Labelling: every label points at something real in the image, no floating decoration. Finish: real material behaviour, grain, ink bleed, paper tooth, glass, metal, whatever the ground is, carried consistently across the whole frame including the type. DIRECTION is yours. FOCAL: the smallness of the thing against the size of what it replaces. A drop on a brush tip, and no drill anywhere in the picture. YOUR CALL: what the object actually is in your hands. The bottle, the loaded micro brush, the single drop mid fall, or the treated tooth itself with its black mark shown honestly rather than hidden. SURPRISE ME: the obvious take caps your score, the boldest true take wins. JUDGED on wow, then subject, surprise, taste, craft, material. Honesty about the black staining scores higher than a version that quietly leaves it out. NOT THIS: no crying child and no frightened patient. No cartoon tooth with a face. No before and after split, which is a different family and not this one. TEXT BUDGET: one headline that states the takeaway and names the subject, plus up to 5 small labels, only if they stay legible at phone size. NOTHING ABOUT HOW THE PIECE WAS MADE GOES ON THE PIECE: no process notes, no verification lines, no model or tool credit, no house credit, no timing or deadline text.
