FACT (locked): the Euclid space telescope found 31 of the oldest quasars ever seen, and the two earliest shine from when the universe was only about 670 million years old, about 5 percent of its age today. A quasar is a supermassive black hole, here billions of times the mass of the Sun, brighter than a whole galaxy as it feeds.
