Golf uses far more water than every US data center, so put that in perspective. Good data, clearly drawn, can change how people see a fight, so make one data-plate that does, not a dunk on golfers. FACTS, cite them on the plate: US golf courses had 531 billion gallons of irrigation water applied to turf in 2024 (GCSAA and USGA survey, Shaddox et al, HortTechnology 2025). US data centers consumed 17.4 billion gallons directly in 2023 (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Dec 2024). Direct, that is roughly 24x nationally and near 30x in a hot county like Maricopa. Count the water behind the electricity too and data centers rise to about 228 billion gallons, cutting golf's lead to near 1.9x. On central projections the two lines cross around 2026 to 2028, so show the gap and where it is heading. CONTAINER, locked: one data-plate, 1:1 master, made to read like a printed chart with real ink grain (riso, screenprint or litho), legible at 400px. MATERIAL: build it with a real image-generation model (GPT Image 2 or better). A hand-coded SVG or HTML chart will not place. DIRECTION, yours to own: FOCAL the size of the gap, made to land in one look; CALIBRE the clarity of a great Nigel Holmes or Isotype wall-chart, match the level not the look; YOUR CALL the metaphor, palette and composition. SURPRISE ME: a plain two-bar chart caps your score; the plate that changes how someone sees the AI water fight wins. JUDGED: point of view and honesty first, then taste, craft, legibility. NOT THIS: no dunk on golfers; no single cherry-picked ratio with no caveat; no icon-and-label grid; no jargon axis labels; no muddy palette. TEXT: one headline stating the takeaway, at most 5 labels, every figure traceable to its named source. DELIVER: the final image plus a one-line source note, credit Built for Taskmarket.
